emBold is a web design and development agency that has been in business for 8 years. We're a small elite dev/design team with a lot of room for growth. The owner has 14 years of experience in the field and co-created the Summit Collective with other complimentary marketing-related businesses in the northeast Ohio area. We focus on making the job a fun and creative place for web developers and designers. We're currently a team of 6, all developers, so it's an extremely developer-focused culture. The projects we work on often present a unique challenge to keep us engaged and interested.
We're located in a 2,200 square foot office in Akron's Bounce Innovation Hub where we're surrounded by other cutting-edge product and tech development companies. You can check out a virtual tour of our space here. Networking and other community events happen regularly (at least, they did pre-COVID), as well as code meetups. We're located just a few minutes walk from the main part of downtown and near all kinds of fun locations (breweries, etc.)
It's a very laid back environment, with delicious coffee, nice equipment to work on, paid lunch just about every Friday, a 3D printer, a ping pong table, and company outings now and then. You like? Send us your resume and some project examples (or your GitHub)!
This is not a telecommuting position, nor are we looking for any other businesses wanting to sub-contract.
